Parkway is committed to helping support adoption by providing resources through special offerings to the James 1:27 Adoption Fund. The fund was started in 2007 to help Parkway families with adoption cost and to support their efforts to build families.
CHILDREN
According to UNICEF there are 153 Million orphans world-wide. Every day over 5,700 children become orphans.
Countries
Our precious Parkway Children have come from the U.S., Russia, China, Guatemala, and more.
COST
Costs vary, but adoption expenses can add up to over $20,000, including agency fees, travel expenses, and home study costs.
How Can I Help?
Make your tax deductible donation to the James 1:27 Adoption Fund at any time. When giving my mail or in person, label your offering with "Adoption Fund" in the memo line or on the envelope. When giving online, select "James 1:27 Adoption Fund" from the drop-down menu.
How Can I Seek Support?
Applications for adoption assistance are taken from Parkway Baptist Church members throughout the year. At a minimum, quarterly evaluations of applications received by March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31 are performed for grants.
