Each Sunday in October, we will have a special ministry opportunity for our students and parents! Similar to what we did with Coffee & Colossians in July, we will gather with students upstairs at church starting at 8:15am. We will have some fellowship time that will feature coffee and treats. We will then take some time to teach students from the Word and then break up into smaller, gender-specific, groups to further discuss what we taught. For the month of October, we will be focusing on 4 different spiritual disciplines, beginning with Bible reading/study this Sunday! We will wrap up by 9:20am.
At the same time, Parents, you are invited to join other parents for a special time of encouragement with Mike and Stacy Young at the Panera Bread at Cosby Village. After you drop your student off at church for 815, you can make the quick drive to Panera and meeting with other parents, be encouraged in your parenting journey, and pray together! You will finish up in time to get back to Parkway to connect with your student for the 9:30 worship service.
